PowerOasis products are designed to be robust, easy to install and to enable future flexibility through modular upgrade.   At the heart of each solution is a PowerOasis SmartHub installed on the base station site, which remotely communicates with PowerOasis Manager.

Upgrading a solution requires a software upgrade, installation of any additional third-party hardware on site and connecting additional monitoring and control signals to SmartHub. For example, upgrading from Network Power Monitoring to Generator-Battery Hybrid Power requires a software upgrade, appropriate generator, rectifier and battery components to be installed (or existing ones reused) and the monitoring and control signals to be connected between the generator, rectifier and SmartHub. The PowerOasis SmartHub and any existing monitoring sensors are not replaced, therefore protecting existing investment.
