The PowerOasis Hybrid Power System is made up of a common platform of power control modules that support a variety of base station power loads and control a comprehensive selection of power sources including generators, fuel cells, electricity grid, solar panels or wind energy.

It can be used purely with renewable sources of energy so as to totally remove the need for a generator or grid connection, should the weather conditions allow for sufficient power to be generated.  However, the most common solution is to use solar as a complementary energy source to reduce dependence on prime energy source.
