Network Power Monitoring & Energy Management
The baseline Network Power Monitoring & Energy Management solution supports monitoring of the site power status and charge level of the battery system. It monitors the key indicators including diesel fuel levels, grid supply power, load power, generator runtime, battery temperature and site temperature. Additional monitoring points, such as multi-tenant A/C power consumption, site alarms, or site access control can easily be added.
Performance data and fault information (alarms and events) are transmitted via modems or the transmission backhaul, to the network operations centre for storage and analysis in the PowerOasis Manager system.
The following diagram illustrates the key components of a Network Power Monitoring & Energy Management solution.

Examples of various grid monitoring packages include:
Grid with diesel back up – monitoring fuel level, generator status, grid presence and site load (single monitoring point)
Off grid, dual generator site - monitoring fuel level, generator status, site load and UPS battery status
Security package for high theft risk site - monitoring fuel level, site access (site entrance & battery cabinet), movement detection and IP video camera support
Additional monitoring options include AC load monitoring, multiple load monitoring (air conditioning, HVAC, auxilaries, transmission, BTS etc), environmental monitoring (weather, temperature etc), water in fuel, 3 phase monitoring and GPRS modem for backhaul.
